《愛麗絲夢遊仙境》是家喻戶曉的奇幻名著，至今流傳160年，被翻譯成170多種語言。因情節有趣、角色鮮明，文本內容有其光明面與黑暗面，愛麗絲的好奇心驅動她勇敢探險，卻也常常迷失其中，感到困惑；故事充滿想像力，但也隱藏著混亂、暴力與極權的氣味。此文本也讓詮釋的創作者在視覺上往往能有極大發揮，因而被大量改編成電影與劇場作品，最知名的應該是提姆．波頓的電影《魔境夢遊》，特別是強尼．戴普扮演的瘋狂帽客，和海倫娜．波漢．卡特扮演的紅心皇后，強烈造型令人印象深刻。
雅絲敏．瓦迪蒙舞團的《愛麗絲書中奇幻冒險》在2022年秋天於英國首演，由以色列編舞家雅絲敏．瓦迪蒙編創，她於1998年在英國創立自己的舞團，自2006年迄今擔任被譽為英國舞蹈聖殿的沙德勒之井劇院的特邀藝術家，作品也經常受邀巡演於世界各地重要的劇院及藝術節。《愛麗絲書中奇幻冒險》是她的第二個童話故事改編作品，第一個則是改編自《木偶奇遇記》的《Pinocchio》（2016） ，兩部作品皆屢獲好評與國際邀約，持續在各地巡演。
《愛麗絲書中奇幻冒險》演出全長80分鐘，七位舞者無間斷地輪流扮演多個角色。舞台設計是在旋轉舞台上裝設一本巨大的書，演出過程中，隨舞台旋轉，如同時間不停流逝，角色穿梭其中，每一幕都像翻開一頁新的驚喜。
此作品舞蹈風格多元，舞者的精采表現充滿張力與戲劇性，無論是愛麗絲展現小女孩總是好奇又困惑的樣子、貓咪的神經質或是紅心皇后的易怒專制，都刻劃的極為生動。
舞作的服裝設計既簡約又具想像力，例如愛麗絲的無袖白色短洋裝，上頭的領口、扣子與口袋是手繪線條，與舞台設計的巨大書本相呼應。
值得一提的是，演出中頻繁使用影像與燈光等豐富元素，創造出虛實交錯的視覺氛圍，貼合夢境也符合童話故事的設定。舞團也有製作《愛麗絲夢遊VR》，將虛擬與現實的奇妙錯置透過VR玩得爐火純青，屆時也將至衛武營讓觀眾體驗。
綁著兩條長辮子的愛麗絲，不停地在問路與發現新事物，就像每個人的成長過程，總在尋尋覓覓對的道路與位置，過程偶有顛簸，但時間一直走，生命得繼續下去，再怎麼跌跌撞撞，路上也會遇見驚奇，也終會走出屬於自己的一條路。推薦給每位努力為自己選擇人生方向的你，進劇場與愛麗絲一起發現新世界吧。

隨著位於英國肯特郡阿什福德的全新基地 JV H.O.M.E 的啟用，該空間將專注於舞團的研究、創作及跨領域藝術教育計畫，藝術總監雅絲敏．瓦迪蒙持續豐富其備受評論界推崇的創作版圖。不僅為自身舞團創作，她亦與全球多家頂尖藝術機構合作，拓展其國際影響力。

Jasmin Vardimon Company
Jasmin Vardimon Company was founded in London in 1998 and rapidly rose to become a significant voice in British dance theatre. The company is dedicated to the choreography of Artistic Director, Jasmin VARDIMON - Associate Artist of Sadler's Wells since 2006.
Renowned for her uniquely theatrical choreographic and directorial style combining physical theatre, quirky characterisation, innovative technologies, text and dance, VARDIMON accentuates her work with an acute observation of human behaviour. With sharp instincts and provocative daring, she has developed an individual choreographic voice, distinguished by her beautifully detailed movement, insightful humour and engaging drama. The company's works are widely accessible through their exposure of human experience, social relevance, high quality, passion, skill and commitment.
The company tours nationally and internationally performing at high-profile theatres and festivals across the globe.
In 2022, the company moved into its own creative home - JV h.o.m.e in Ashford, Kent - thanks to support from Kent Council, Ashford Borough Council, and Arts Council England. A cultural centre dedicated to the company's creative research and artistic productions, educational residencies and multi-disciplinary artistic study, JV h.o.m.e aims to encourage the growth of a cultural legacy in Kent, sharing unique artistic experience and knowledge.

雅絲敏．瓦迪蒙出生並成長於以色列艾因哈荷雷什集體農場，曾在吉布茲舞團擔任舞者五年。1995年，她榮獲英國文化協會「On the Way to London」編舞大獎，這次殊榮開啟了她的旅程，最終讓她永久移居英國，並於1998年創立了雅絲敏．瓦迪蒙舞團（前身為 Zbang）。自此，她創作出許多令人難忘的經典作品。

Artistic Director｜Jasmin VARDIMON
A leading force in British dance theatre for twenty-five years, Jasmin VARDIMON has built a reputation for challenging, exciting and visually stunning dance. She continues to add to the body of critically acclaimed, artistically respected yet accessible work both for the company she formed in 1998 and for some of the leading arts institutions she works with worldwide.
With sharp instincts and provocative daring, she has developed an individual choreographic voice, distinguished by her beautifully detailed movement, insightful humour, and engaging drama.
Born and raised on Kibbutz Ein Hahoresh in Israel, Jasmin VARDIMON was a member of the Kibbutz Dance Company for five years and in 1995 was awarded the prestigious British Council "On the Way to London" Choreography Award. This was to take her on a journey that saw her move to the UK permanently, going on to create Jasmin Vardimon Company (previously Zbang) for which she has created some of her most memorable work.
Jasmin has been an Associate Artist at Sadler's Wells since 2006. In 2018 her choreography on the video for Paloma FAITH's single "Loyal", was nominated for Best Choreography at the UK Music Video Awards. Other commissions include choreography for the Royal Opera House (Tannhäuser, 2010, 2016 & 2023), Lyric Opera of Chicago (Tannhäuser, 2015), Glyndebourne Festival (Carmen, 2024) and for ROH2's OperaShots season with composer Graham FITKIN at the Linbury Studio (Home, 2012). Jasmin has also received commissions with Staatstheater Braunschweig (Germany), Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen (Germany), Bitef Theatre Belgrade (Serbia), Hellenic Dance Athens (Greece) and others.
Jasmin has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Wolverhampton since 2011. She developed a Higher Education programme for dancers and actors, led by her company as a postgraduate certificate at Royal Holloway, University of London; in 2012 launched JV2, a full-time Professional Development Diploma programme; and in 2016, the JVIntensive programme. In 2014 she received an honorary doctorate from Royal Holloway, University of London. In 2018 she received an honorary fellowship from the Institute Arts Barcelona.
